Kids explore, connect and create in this geography integrated art class fusing animals with global arts from around the planet. Each week we travel to a different part of the world, learning about its culture and making an art project inspired by that region.  We explore diverse regions of Mexico with children making Oaxacan Alebrijes - Mexican art sculptures of fantastical creatures.  We venture to Western Africa and explore Mali, Senegal and more, making animal inspired masks another week.
