This introductory French class combines a variety of teaching methods including role plays, written handouts, group activities, and multimedia resources to enhance your learning experience and make it fun and dynamic. Perfect for those with no previous French and those who want to dip their toe back in and need a refresher. Learn greetings, sentence structure foundations, pronunciation rules and about the culture of several African francophone countries . Madame Maggie shares tips and strategies to help you build a strong foundation. Learning a new language can be intimidating, especially at the beginning. That's why Wingspan fosters a supportive and encouraging environment where students feel comfortable learning, practicing and asking questions. Our small class sizes ensure personalized attention and ample opportunities to interact with fellow learners.

To bring:  A notebook, a package of index cards (3” x 5” or larger), folder and 3-d dictionary (as in a book) French-English, Curricular Content, Art Materials, Handouts and other digital supplemental resources provided. Berets optional.
